IOCL Refineries Division invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Apprentices under Apprentices Act. 1961/1973 in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Disciplines in various IOCL Refineries Divisions.

Technician Apprentice Discipline - Instrumentation

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31.10.2017. The Upper Age Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC.

Stipend: As prescribed under the Apprentices  Act, the Apprentices shall be paid a consolidated stipend of an amount equivalent to a prescribed percentage of the minimum wages applicable in the State. In addition, the Refinery pays ₹ 2500/- per month to an apprentice towards stationery, conveyance and miscellaneous expenses etc.

Educational Qualifications:

Trade Apprentice - Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) -> 03 Years full time B.Sc Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry.

Trade Apprentice (Fitter) -> 10th Class with 02 Years ITI in Fitter course.

Educational Qualifications:

Trade Apprentice - Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) -> 03 Years full time B.Sc Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry.

Trade Apprentice (Fitter) -> 10th Class with 02 Years ITI in Fitter course.

Trade Apprentice (Boiler) -> 03 years full time B.Sc Degree (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry).

Technician Apprentice (Chemical) -> 03 years Full Time Diploma in Chemical Engineering /Refinery & Petrochemicals Engineering.

Technician Apprentice (Mechanical) -> 03 years Full Time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Technician Apprentice (Electrical) -> 03 years Full Time Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation) -> 03 years Full Time Diploma in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering.

Selection Process: Written Test and Personal Interview.
