Madhya Pradesh PSC released the employment notification for selection of the post of  50 Assistant Engineer Civil/ Mechanical

State Engineering Services Exam 2017 (SEE-2017) Jobs opportunity in Madhya Pradesh PSC 

1. Assistant Engineer Civil
No. of Posts : 48 Posts

2. Assistant Engineer Mechanical
No. of Posts :  02 Posts

Qualification : The candidate must have qualified B.E/B.Tech Engineering in Civil/Mechanical Engineering.

Fee : For the candidates of General examinations fee is Rs.1200/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates examination fees is Rs.600/- and for all category candidates of other states examination fee is Rs.1200/-.

Selection : MPPSC State Engineering Services Exam will be conducted in two stages.

1. Preliminary Examination-500 Marks
2. Mains Examination-600 Marks
3. Written Test-75 Marks

Mains examination for MPPSC will be conducted for the 600 marks.

Paper-2
Subject : Respective Engineering Subject: 300 Marks

About Madhya Pradesh PSC

Consequent on the reorganization of States on 1st November 1956, eight districts of Madhya Pradesh have been transferred to the Bombay State and the remaining fourteen districts of the Madhya Pradesh  along with Madhya Bharat, Bhopal and Vindhya Pradesh were merged to form the new Madhya Pradesh. As there was no Public Service Commission for the States of Bhopal and Vindhya Pradesh, these being Part 'C' States, and the recruitment for these States was being done by the Union Public Service Commission, the records of cases dealt with by the Union Public Service Commission for these two States  were not available to the new Commission.
