Flying (203/18F/SSC/M &W ) 

Qualification: Graduates (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognized University who have attained minimum 60% marks or equivalent and have passed Maths & Physics at 10+2 level or BE / B Tech degree (Four year course) or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent.

Ground Duty (Technical) 202/18T/PC/ M 202/18T/ SSC/M &W

Educational Qualifications: (i) Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) {AE (L)}. Candidates with minimum 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of four year graduation / integrated post graduation qualification in Engineering / Technology from recognize University or cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent in the following disciplines:

(a) Communication Engineering (b) Computer Engineering / Technology (c) Computer Engineering & Application (d) Computer Science and Engineering / Technology (e) Electrical and Computer Engineering (f) Electrical and Electronics Engineering (g) Electrical Engineering (h) Electronics Engineering / Technology (j) Electronics Science and Engineering (k) Electronics (l) Electronics and Communication Engineering (m) Electronics and Computer Science (n) Electronics and / or Telecommunication Engineering (o) Electronics and / or Telecommunication Engineering (Microwave) (p) Electronics and Computer Engineering (q) Electronics Communication and Instrumentation Engineering (r) Electronics Instrument & Control (s) Electronics Instrument & Control Engineering (t) Instrumentation & Control Engineering (u) Instrument & Control Engineering (v) Information Technology.

Administration 

Qualification: Graduate Degree (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognised university with 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

Logistics 

Qualification: Graduate Degree (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognised university with 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. 

Accounts

Qualification:  B. Com. degree (Minimum three year degree course) from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. 

Education 

Qualification: MBA / MCA or MA / M Sc degree in English / Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Statistics / International relations / International studies / Defence studies / Psychology / Computer Science / IT / Management / Mass Communication / Journalism / Public Relation with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate all paper put together in Post Graduation (Minimum two year programme) and 60% marks in graduation (both recognised by UGC / Competent Accreditation Authority).

Age: 20 to 24 years as on 01 Jan 2018 i.e. Born between 02 Jan 1994 to 01 Jan 1998. (Both Dates inclusive). 

Pay Scale :Rs. 15,600 - 39,100

Selection Procedure: All applicants whose applications are submitted by due date will be called for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) (applicable only for candidates applying for technical branch) to be conducted on 28 August 2016 (Sunday) at one of the examination centres mentioned at para 16 (b). Candidates will be required to login to their candidate login accounts regularly for information on AFCAT, EKT (if applicable) and AFSB testing. The AFCAT will be of two hours duration and will contain multiple choice questions on verbal ability, numerical ability, reasoning, general awareness and military aptitude.

AFCAT Centres: Ambala, Amritsar, Allahabad, Agra, Ahmedabad, Barnala, Bathinda, Bengaluru, Belgaum, Bidar, Bagdogra, Bareilly, Chandigarh, Chabua, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Darbhanga, Gorakhpur, Gwalior, Guwahati, Halwara, Hashimara, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jalandhar, Jammu, Jorhat, Jaipur, Jamnagar, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Kalaikunda(Kharagpur), Kochi, Leh, Lucknow, Mumbai, Mohanbari, Mysore, Nal (Bikaner), Nagpur, Ojhar (Nasik), Pathankot, Patna, Pune, Port Blair, Salua (Kharagpur), Srinagar, Suratgarh, Sirsa, Saharanpur, Shillong, Silchar, Sulur (Coimbatore), Thane, Tezpur, Thanjavur, Thiruvananthapuram, Vadodara, Varanasi. (c) Candidates will be allotted AFCAT centres as per their selection/choice subject to availability of vacancy at that centre.

Training : Training is scheduled to commence in the first week of July 2017 for all courses . The duration of training for Flying and Technical Branches is 74 weeks and that of Ground Duty Branches is 52 weeks at Air Force Training Establishments.
